Avon Schools recently received grants totaling more than $30,000 in partnership with the Indiana Department of Education. These funds will be used to provide training for Project Lead the Way Gateway courses, allowing students to get richer, deeper Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math experiences during their time at Avon Middle School North and South.

These courses are already available to students in grades 7 and 8:

Design and Modeling

Design and Modeling provides students opportunities to apply the design process to creatively solve problems. >> Learn More

Automation and Robotics

Automation and Robotics (AR) allows students to trace the history, development, and influence of automation and robotics as they learn about mechanical systems, energy transfer, machine automation, and computer control systems. >> Learn More

Beginning in the 2022-23 school year, students will now get the chance to experience these new courses:

App Creators (grade 8)
