December 12 is 'Black & Gold Day' in Avon
The Avon Town Council proclaimed that Friday, December 12, is 'Black & Gold Day' in the Town of Avon in honor of the triumphant season just completed by the Avon Marching Black & Gold.
- They won their 18th Indiana State School Music Association State Championship.
- They earned their third consecutive — and sixth overall — Bands of America Grand National Championship.
