Counseling
Hello there! My name is Andrea Davasher and I am so excited to be your child’s Seventh Grade School Counselor at Avon Middle School North for the 2021-2022 school year. This will be my eighteenth year teaching or counseling at the middle school level and I am excited to make this the best year yet! I am an Avon graduate and a busy Mom of two teenagers, so I am right there in the trenches with you! Caden is starting college this year and Tyler will be a sophomore at Avon High School. You may see her on the sidelines cheering on our mighty Orioles! I graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Finance and a minor in Spanish. I have a secondary teaching license in Mathematics and a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Indiana University. Go Hoosiers!I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, and traveling. I cannot wait to get to know you and your child as we navigate the middle school years together. I am happy to help in any way that I can!
Hi everyone! My name is Allison West and I’m your child’s 8th Grade Counselor for the 2021-2022 school year at Avon Middle School North. I was the 7th Grade Counselor last year and got to know quite a few of your children then. 😊 As a School Counselor my main objective is to support your child in the ways they need it most. This may involve social and emotional needs, academic concerns and/or college and career information, among lots of other things. I have 3 children of my own and understand that parents and schools must work together in order to help our children be happy and successful. Our oldest daughter Courtney is a Butler grad and lives in Columbus, Ohio. My 19 year-old son Tommy is a college sophomore at Ball State, and my youngest daughter Kate is a Senior this year at Danville High School. We are extra busy during the fall because my husband coaches high school football and my daughter plays high school volleyball (Go Warriors!). I have 2 dogs – Lola is 13 and Beaux is 5 months. I love my pups more that words could ever explain!! When I’m not at games or walking dogs, I love to read on my patio, go for long walks and spend time with friends. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s teachers or to me with questions or concerns
