2026-27 Information
Summer workouts for 7/8 grade football will be held on Wednesday evenings throughout the summer. This will be for all incoming AMS North, South and West 7/8 graders. They will be held at the AMS South game field (located at Evergreen Elementary) from 5:00-6:30pm. Players should wear athletic clothes and cleats, and bring their own water. These are OPTIONAL practices but we would like players to attend as many practices as possible
June 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th
July 1st, 15th, 22nd (No practice July 8th due to football camp at the AHS)
Monday, July 27th (4:00 - 4:30) Equipment Handout at AMS South
Monday, July 27th (4:30 - 6:00 pm) Summer Practice (Helmets and Shorts/Cleats) *Please bring a water bottle.
Tuesday, July 28th (4:30 - 6:00 pm) Summer Practice
Wednesday, July 29th (4:30 - 6:00 pm) Summer Practice
Thursday, July 30th (4:30 - 6:00 pm) First Official Practice After School
Friday, July 31st (4:30 - 6:00 pm) Official Practice
Athletes must have physicals uploaded and forms completed in Final Forms to participate in their first practice.
Athletes must have athletic fees paid to receive equipment and participate in games. Please speak with Ed Faughnan if you have any questions or concerns.
Participation Requirements
Updated athletic paperwork and physical in Final Forms- please make sure that your physical is dated on or after April 1, 2026 and uses the IHSAA pre-participation physical form.
Please remember, your student athlete MUST have all steps complete before any participation. This includes both open gyms and try-outs. Students who are selected for the teams will need the following:
- $25 Athletic fee (one time for year)
- $50 Program support fee
- Practice Pack fee TBD
