Matt Hines, Principal
I am thrilled to get the opportunity to work alongside a talented team of teachers and staff at North. I look forward to collaborating with parents to continue the tradition of excellence in Avon Community School Corporation. I have had the privilege of teaching high school mathematics and serving as an assistant principal at both the middle school and high school levels throughout central Indiana, most recently serving as assistant principal at Avon High School. My wife and two daughters are my “why” and are integral supporters of my desire to serve kids and families. Please contact me to collaborate on ways to support the students and staff at North. Let’s make this the best year yet!
I am Ginger Davis. Being a graduate from Avon High School, I have seen a lot of positive changes in our school corporation, and I am excited about the growth our community has experienced. After graduating from Butler University with my Bachelor of Music, I taught music in IPS and Plainfield Community Middle Schools. While my three boys were in school, I decided to further my education to become a school counselor. As a school counselor, I had the opportunity to come back to Avon and assist with the opening of Avon Intermediate School. A few years later, I continued my education at Indiana University to get my certification in administration. In 2009, I took the opportunity to be a part of opening Avon Middle School North where I have served as the assistant principal for 13 years. My husband and I raised our three boys on the west side, and now we are proud residents of Avon. I look forward to meeting each of you and helping your children be successful here at North and in the future.
It’s truly an honor and privilege to serve as Assistant Principal at Avon Middle School North! I am excited to begin my leadership journey with Avon Community School Corporation. I began my teaching career in 2010 after graduating from IUPUI. While at IUPUI, I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a minor is Special Education. My most recent position as a Multi-Classroom Leader has prepared me to support the instructional efforts and impact academic outcomes for our 7th and 8th grade students at AMNS. I have been welcomed with great enthusiasm from the team and am eager to see what the year will bring! I have a genuine passion for advocating on behalf of all stakeholders and providing a high-quality educational experience to the families and students of AMSN. As Assistant Principal, I hope to bring a diverse perspective, unique ideas and solutions, while embodying the mission to ensure that all students and families feel they can belong, learn and grow. I have the heart and dedication to truly engage in this important work of providing your scholar with the tools they need to succeed, the ability to create memorable experiences and guidance that will encourage each scholar to become a life-long learner! Let’s connect on ways to enhance the school experience for every scholar, every day, in every way!
