Matt Hines, Principal

I am thrilled to get the opportunity to work alongside a talented team of teachers and staff at North. I look forward to collaborating with parents to continue the tradition of excellence in Avon Community School Corporation. I have had the privilege of teaching high school mathematics and serving as an assistant principal at both the middle school and high school levels throughout central Indiana, most recently serving as assistant principal at Avon High School. My wife and two daughters are my “why” and are integral supporters of my desire to serve kids and families. Please contact me to collaborate on ways to support the students and staff at North.  Let’s make this the best year yet!

Meet the Assistant Principals

Ginger Davis

I am Ginger Davis. Being a graduate from Avon High School, I have seen a lot of positive changes in our school corporation, and I am excited about the growth our community has experienced. After graduating from Butler University with my Bachelor of Music, I taught music in IPS and Plainfield Community Middle Schools. While my three boys were in school, I decided to further my education to become a school counselor. As a school counselor, I had the opportunity to come back to Avon and assist with the opening of Avon Intermediate School. A few years later, I continued my education at Indiana University to get my certification in administration. In 2009, I took the opportunity to be a part of opening Avon Middle School North where I have served as the assistant principal for 13 years. My husband and I raised our three boys on the west side, and now we are proud residents of Avon. I look forward to meeting each of you and helping your children be successful here at North and in the future.
